"America is rumbling...

The movement that began in New York, in the shadow of Wall Street, has begun to spread across the nation. Occupiers have taken to the streets in Boston, Washington, Portland, and beyond, expressing the same dissent and frustration of their founders in Liberty Plaza. Their individual irritations are varied, but their methods for direction and progress are clear, as expressed by a member of Occupy New Haven, Josh Smith: '[to open] avenues to everyone for democratic participation, with real, ancient Athens-style democracy.'

The movement does not intend to express a single purpose or goal, nor do they pretend to have all the answers to every problem facing the country, or even an answer to every problem they express. But they have gathered still, not necessarily to demand an immediate solution to a single error, but rather to deliberate what is possible for every error in the congressional and cooperative manner in which they believe the leaders of the United States have failed to do so.

A nation is rising, and it's voices will be heard..."
