Most of us already are, and have been. The people in the tents are one part of the movement, both the most visible and the most controversial. While they do play an integral role in the movement, they are in no way the sum total of our constituency, and their actions and demands provide a focal point for discussion for tens of thousands of sympathizers who have work or class or other reasons why they can't occupy but are still onboard with the movement overall. It is these sympathizers, myself included, who are going to be the movement's legacy and who will hopefully begin the process of implementing change.

We're not living in normal times. If u had any understanding of all the events going on around u, then u would understand that. I feel sorry for u and your family that u don't understand it.

[-] -1 points by honest101 (1) 12 years ago

No need to feel sorry for me. I work for a living. On the other hand, you dont. Just get a job.

[-] 1 points by Edgewaters (912) 12 years ago

I don't believe you have a job. People who spam forums they disagree with all day long don't have jobs.

You seem awfully rattled about people (of all ages) striving for a return to democracy; one in which even your vote will mean something again and not be usurped, bought by those with more money than you.

Your normal life may soon end ... Your job may soon end ... and plentiful food may soon end. Wake up!

[-] 1 points by Restorefreedomtoall1776 (272) from Bayonne, NJ 12 years ago

Absolutely! Even now, we can see certain shortages or even the complete disappearance of various items in food stores. As only one example, I like butter made with olive oil which can no longer be found in my area. It may still be available in your area, but no longer in mine.

This will not be possible in a ruined economy and destabilized Society with the FED or Federal Reserve Bank Printing money and money and money....inflationing the dollar and a free trade madness...

A lot of you folks have some growing up to do.

[-] 1 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 12 years ago

I think that's absolutely true. I'm 55 and hope to continue growing for many years to come. Maybe you should consider growing, too.

I, for one, prefer that to going to a forum about a movement dedicated to change only to lob insults. But then again, maybe I should just chalk your comments up to immaturity.
