A truly free People must arm itself with a free press (Media). With the removal of regulations from both Republicans and Democrats alike, the taxpayers of the United States have lost their true freedom decades ago. It’s just a matter of time that the multinational corporate elite will take away the “public tax monies” created Internet. Be brave enough to look elsewhere and try to get differing viewpoints. A spoken opinion based on an incomplete investigation of a subject is a manipulated opinion. Censorship leads to blindness and eventually a society of subjects. Are we subjects yet? What happened to all the great investigative journalist when our press was bought up by multinational corporate interest and their type of news was no longer a thing distributed to the American public? We need to find them and read the viewpoints that have been suppressed by the multinational corporate elite. I’m currently reading “The Creature from Jekyll Island” (G. Edward Griffin), A Second Look at the Federal Reserve.

1996 Telecommunications Act for starters. Also the rule changes made and started under FCC Chairman Michael Powell that allows some one like Rupert Murdock to control the message to so many with out a real opposing view point. With just a few controlling the message to so many. If they choose to not talk about an issue, then, it simply does not exist.

Absolute truth spoken!

"A spoken opinion based on an incomplete investigation of a subject is a manipulated opinion."

Subjects aren't always involuntary. Some people willingly submit to an authority that they like or believe in without doing any homework or research first and later come to find out that they chose poorly. Some people walk in darkness simply because they don't want to open their eyes.
