The cons are always trying to fill our heads with shit. Sadly, many of us eat it up. They say if you want anything, no matter how small or trivial compared to their holdings that you are greedy just like them ... it's human nature blah, blah blah....

They and the shit eaters don't understand a critical difference in scale. My desire for comfort or small pleasures and security does not compare to their hordes of material and cash that necessarily deprive others of what many must have to live at all. In America, the want of sufficient money means low quality everything and little or no health care such that shorter more miserable lives are the lot of a significant fraction of the population. And then there's global warming.

"... The idea that all humanity is equally and collectively responsible for climate change - or any other environmental or social problem - is extremely weak....

"... But we are not all equally responsible in a more fundamental way. Some people through the power they wield, have stood in the way of halting climate change. Not because they were stubborn or incompetent or failed to understand the seriousness. But because they acted in pursuit of a fundamental re-organizing of our economies during the 1970s and 80s. And this shake-up militated against the kinds of policies and government intervention that might have halted - or at least slowed - climate change...."

Are we all equally responsible?

Nope - millions of us do what we can to recycle and reduce what we put into our landfills as well as reduce our electrical use as well as limit our driving and all kinds of other things including removing unnecessary perfumes and dyes from our cleaning products ..... so on & on & on. As well as be activists/lobbyists for all sorts of clean changes to all sorts of our industries.

Others though - could give a rats ass.

And then there are the cons in power. They deliberately block the knowledge of global warming, in preparation for the refusal to do anything about it that will reduce the loot they extract from our people and community.

The community I speak of is the commonality of life on the Planet Earth. Conservatives/Capitalists are a deadly cancer.

people are willing to “look away” from painful complicated issue, if it is more convenient to ignore it, or are they are just sickos. https://www.npr.org/2018/08/06/636133086/you-2-0-the-ostrich-effect

.....”As OpenSecrets’ Anna Massoglia and Geoff West wrote, “Today we’re making available, for the first time, a searchable database of foreign interests spending on lobbying and influence in the United States… In addition to a full-text search feature, Foreign Lobby Watch data is now searchable by lobbyist or political operative name, registrant, country, and foreign principal”
