With all the horrors of oppression we see in muslim nations are the people happy ?
Are Muslims happy?
Can mutes speak?
Can pigs fly?
Are Republicans smart?
Are you aware that Muslims in the Islamic world are not too impressed with our society and it's ills?
To get over your ignorance and your cultural imperialism do some reading. I highly recommend:
Edward Said's "Orientalism" and "Culture and Imperialism"
Albert Memmi's "The Colonizer and the Colonized"
and, Benedict Anderson's "Imagined Communities"
Yeah, we know Muslims don't like American morals.
That's why they BOMB us.
We are on their soil bombing them. Get your facts straight.
Oh that cannot be true, Democrats are in control of DC, so therefore all must be sunshine and roses.
Did I ever say Dems were any better than Reps when it comes to belligerence?
No but it's the general OWS assumption Dems are the only hope for this country. Thus Rush haters.
Well, the Dems and Repubs can all be burnt at the stake as far as I'm concerned. Both sides clearly know what the game is and very well how to keep a quorum of Americans hanging onto the hopes of what they intuitively know to be true, isn't.
Your comments give me faith in OWS.
:)
I wanna give you some noogies too........getovaheah!
do you want a list of Muslim attacking on U.S. soil?? we are only in their crapistan countries to kill terrorist. don't be a terrorist apologist.
You justify a decade of war on two nations in retaliation for the acts of a few people. Sad.
it does take a while to kill the terrorist. The act of 9/11 wasn't by a few people, it had the support of the Taliban.
Wow. "Cultural Imperialism". VERY impressive . I think we should pull every soldier out of every Muslim country. Leave them to their own devices. Like forcing women to drees a certain way etc....

yes I am aware . but I don't/can't read .. thanks anyway
Thanks for your honesty. There is help for illiteracy.
I've come to accept certain things can not be changed.
If individuals are brainwashed into believing that "this is as good as it gets" and not being subjected to serious inhumane acts, some might be genuinely happy. But generally human beings are miserable under tyranny and oppression. When intruduced to the ideas of freedom and democracy, and when seeing a possibility to get it, I think more or less all human beings want freedom. And it´s starting to show. More and more people living under state tyranny are starting to rise up. Also more and more people living under private tyranny are starting to rise up.
Tyranny will be defeated

..and religious tyranny. thanks sff.
“I think it only makes sense to seek out and identify structures of authority, hierarchy, and domination in every aspect of life, and to challenge them; unless a justification for them can be given, they are illegitimate, and should be dismantled, to increase the scope of human freedom.” - N. Chomsky

They have been feeling the pinch from liberal issues. Just recently there was a new liberal law on the books. They are now not allowed to yell "Kuran" in a burning theater.
They are happy as long as they can be kept in the dark and believing. Not so much if they are aware of what the other parts of the world are really like. The worldlier Muslims know how the Muslim world (aside from the oil-rich parts and the elites who pull the strings) has been left behind in their standards of living. The tyrants and dictators for this reason are very much against having the freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of association for their people. They are afraid of Internet freedom and like to pull the plugs. We have wannabes like them here in the U.S., too. Muslims need to know that Islam transcends the Qu'ran in the same way that burning the U.S. flag is an expression of the freedom of speech protected by the holiest document in the founding of our republic - the U.S. Constitution. The fearful people are the ones fixated on physical acts. What do Muslims really do with their deteriorated Qu'rans? Do they burn them just like we do to our deteriorated flags? Physical things deteriorate but spirits and ideas can transcend their physical embodiments through communications, words, deeds, cultures, and history.
The tyrants and dictators are losing their control over the people and will not keep them contained much longer.
There are good examples made of the tyrants and dictators already and these shows will come to various neighborhood theaters worldwide. Hurray! March on, humanity, you know where you belong - no less than a place in the sun and to breathe freedom out from under these pretenders.
