Forum Post: Anti-Trolls Wanna Have Fun Too

I know that the trolls are a degenerated form of life that the internet age has created. They are bored because our society is steeped in mediocrity. They are inundated with bad music, ridiculous video games and politics that they don't really understand due to lack of education. They are part of an entitled population of lazy and apathetic kids. So, they come to forums that embody the passion of people who are trying to get information and formulate ideas and spend their time opposing with prescribed hatred and bigotry. These guys and gals get excited when someone is disturbed by their senselessness and are inspired by the disgust that they invoke. Well, I have news for them. Some of us actually get a kick out of exposing their ignorance. So, I ask, if you guys are going to troll at least, in the very, very least please try to support your statements with at least one fact per troll. One fact should catapult you from a total mental deficit to a possible, albeit boring, iota of humanity. If not then we, the anti-trolls can't have fun with you.

Back-handed complements always work on me. Listening to and respecting the arguments of everyone seems to be the way to go. What would be one fun thing you would like to do today to support and advance the cause of the "Anti-Trolls"?
Awareness and expression always trump ignorance and apathy.

Not sure where you're going with this. Is everything about fun? Foreclosure too?
Now there is one thing to focus on, "Foreclosure". Not much fun for the people in the middle of it. If you lose your job and you lose your house, and you have no savings, and your kids will now have to work their way through college. That sucks.
My personal experience: I had three neighbors that lost their homes in the last several years. All of them had refinanced their houses to pay for new kitchens, additions, swimming pools and new cars. They also had, on the average, greater than $20k in credit card debt. All of them had Smart cell phones with the unlimited data and talk plans. The kids all wore $100 sneakers and the fancy and stylish cloths. None of these families were victims of a job loss. They just had too much debt and could not afford the lifestyle they chose to live.
When I lost my job, I took my savings and paid off my house. At least I am not homeless. I have no credit card debt and I own my car (1997 Van). My expenses are down over 50%, but I cannot seem to give-up my internet, cable TV, or cell phone. But there is another $100 to $200 a month if I need it.
I have started to build lawn furniture and will see where that goes in the spring. I am also preparing planting beds for a massive garden that I will be growing in 2012. I plan to can tomatoes, beans, etc. next summer and fall to hold me over until 2013.
I am profoundly sad when I think about the US collapse and the worthless MFs in the US today. They are so entitled to the best of everything on the backs of hardworking folks. But I am doing something about it and I have prepared for the worst and I continue to hope for the best.
Don’t cry for me, I will be fine. Cry for the folks who live outside their own means and who have destroyed their lives and the lives of their children? And their kids will suffer the most because the parents have taught them nothing about life. All they know is to just sit back and wait for a handout.
What is your personal experience with “Foreclosure”? Maybe you have a different experience. I would love to hear about it.

I agree. The trolls on these boards are simple minded, sophomoric types. It's like they just started trolling a week ago. I wish we would get some pros to fight with.
Yeah...it's really difficult to find enough challenging, combative trolls as deranged OWS peep's.
At first some got me going. I'm not of their generation so I didn't get it at first. Many don't even believe what they write. Seems like such a waste but then that is a reflection on their lives...waste. I feel sorry for this generation. We didn't leave you guys much to work with.
A Troll post is just trying to disrupt and create chaos. Is that much different than the goal of OWS?

Trolls are obnoxious. Their like out of control kindergartens with no teacher in the room. Personally I find such behavior pointless.

A large portion of it, I'm sure. very disheartening. It goes back to my earlier posts, no leadership.
I still think group leadership is viable and don't like the idea of putting all the eggs in one basket. You still think it needs a Gandhi though. I haven't seen anyone that can be that and I don't think people should wait on that. I think getting on the web and making it were tons of votes could be counted quickly would speed this along and allow them to get consensuses a lot quicker.
