Forum Post: an Explaination, Please...

I'm new to the forum. Please explain how this movement is giong to change things. I honestly don't understand how camping out and whatever else you are doing is going to get these greedy people to not be greedy.
I'll explain why explain becomes explanation and not explaination if you buy me some new shoes.
I guess it has to do somewhat with greed. Its more about the influence of money on politics.
What OWS has already achieved is a switch in the media from deficit reduction talks, to a more jobs focused talk...
They have also approved through consensus to hold a Philadelphia style convention to draft amendments and candidates for the next congressional election... I doubt they will go after the presidential ticket, as independent candidates usually get blamed for stealing the chances of one party or another.
Any movement that manages to raise the general awareness factor of the general public, about the diseased state of our bogus leaders, is worthwhile.
Here is how it works Jayhawk52... a) get 52 people from Kansas to pay attention to the rest of the world and b) the world changes (of course, except Kansas).
