I'm sorry I recoiled into apathy. I'm sorry I'm engrossed in areas of socio-economic-idealocial destitute with no will of respite.

I'm sorry I abrupted my thoughts at times for fears of ostracization, or at the best duplications for ideals not agreed upon, but at least conceded in the truest forms of an oasis dialogue rather than that riddled by the dunes of ignorance.

I'm sorry I entered into discussions that couldn't be quantified on issues of past or present, but on issues of pride and person.

I'm sorry should my individualism clash with anyone else's. I'm sorry that old ideals still hold fast in the face of a populism that yearns for an immense push, despite those who pull against it.

I'm sorry that people are more desperate than I or anyone reading this could possibly imagine, and our unwilling collective nature to not help them. I'm sorry our surrogate need to self-benefit lay on the throes of those who have no benefits bestowed upon them, come to them, or instill hope in them.

I'm sorry a hope is lost in the black hole of human segregation--cloaked in the facade of capitalism vs. socialism, or profit over philanthropy. The happy medium is the vacuum from which the laid masses gawk, while Olympus shines on the few eclipsing the many.

My sincerest apologies as a human being, and all apologies aside, I still rest assured that the collective rationale will one day overpower the dominion of self-appreciation.

I had no idea when I wrote this a few years ago, that it would be for today.
