Our politicians are NOT representing us anymore. They have been auctioned to the highest bidder. What used to be considered a bribe is now considered speech. Would you like us to take the “big money” out of politics?
Hard Truth PAC is working to speak out against corporate owned politicians. The US Constitution only allows one peaceful method for voters to reclaim their representation. The question is not “How?” but “Shall we?”
We mean to provide a lasting solution to America's socioeconomic and political problems. Our objective is to call for a Constitutional Convention and pass the Disclose Act. The Act will: 1) Prohibit ALL donations from foreign entities to federal elections 2) Prohibit corporations and PACs from making direct expenditures with respect to such elections as it used to be 3) Support campaign finance reform by establishing additional disclosure requirements
Congress is listening to their sponsors rather than the voters. Enough is enough.
This is our petition for Washington that will be submitted on Monday for certification for the ballot in 2012.

Language: "Should the State of Washington, under Article Five of the United States Constitution, embody a delegation to summon a National Constitutional Convention for the purpose of adopting the Disclose Act: “To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to prohibit foreign influence in federal elections, to prohibit government contractors from making expenditures with respect to such elections, and to establish additional disclosure requirements with respect to spending in such elections.”

If we don't win in those states, our efforts for peaceful change fail.
I agree, but it still has to pass in an election. I know we can get in it on the ballot in many states but we need to pass in states like OK, AR, MO, NE. They won't vote for idealistic dramatic changes. I know, I am grew up around there.
We can pass this act on ballots in those states and there are layers of genius to this. It WILL do the job. Please watch this video explaining it. We have a chance to really make change with all of the energy we have now, we can't afford to waste it on a losing effort. We have to win this time. The third part allows loopholes to be closed as the corporations find them.

Need to eliminate equating money with speech and corporations with personhood. Actions that come up short are more of the same and easily skirted in time for the next election. We need a wall of separation between private interest and public interest.
