News: Today shots were fired from a rifle into the White House, luckily Obama was not in his Oval Office!

We totally support and side with the "Occupy Protesters" because it is time for a change! Not the "CHANGE" President Obama promised us since his campaign for presidency which never became true for the people. The U.S. is in the worst situation since the 1970's recession. Recession is just a word used by the government to make the people feel not as bad about what will happen to the people. There is no recession! It is just their way to oppress the people.

Oppression is the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner. It can also be defined as an act or instance of oppressing, the state of being oppressed, and the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, and anxiety.

The Declaration of Independence has been described as the most important document in human history. Here, in the memorable language of the famous preamble, a hundred and ten words fatally undermined the political basis of the old order and proclaimed a new era in which free peoples would henceforth govern themselves; quoted from the U.S. Declaration of Independence which was written by Thomas Jefferson as follows:

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, That they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new Government, laying its Foundations on such Principles and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to Them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights. In 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court issued two Second Amendment decisions. In District of Columbia v. Heller (2008), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Additionally, the Court enumerated several longstanding prohibitions and restrictions on firearms possession that it found were consistent with the Second Amendment. In McDonald v. Chicago (2010), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment limits state and local governments to the same extent that it limits the federal government.

It is the time to institute a New Government that will help the people, not go against the people. It is the peoples' time to revolt! It is your right as per Thomas Jefferson words, a man who was always against the creation of the National Bank which is our Federal Reserve Bank today as we the people know it.

Take your right for revolution with the people and make the right change!

The point of OWS is centred on the first ammendment and the right to free speech and the right to redress the government for our grievences ... It is also centered on effecting political change through non violent and peacefull means even when faced with violence itself... Urging the people to take up arms against each other is not in the national interest and the target of the protest is not Obama but the manipulation of our laws, constitution and economy by a select few who are abusing the system for self interests that are against the long term interests of the american people. ... There is one important factor that you are overlooking and that is the fact that Obama is surrounded and steered by advisors (some of whom are also holding self interest and career motives above the national interest) and his current view of OWS is most likely to be the same corrupted view that has been portrayed by the mainstream media of 'anarchists', ''druggies' 'homeless dropouts and alcoholics' etc etc ...unless the movement can clearly and concisely overcome the media gossip he is quite simply going to believe the lies that are being told about OWS by the local mayors and governors who are telling him that we're all a bunch of lawless bums who are making the towns untidy and scaring tourists away. Bringing armed resistance into the equation and pointing the finger at Obama would be as relevent to the purpose and principals of OWS as pointing the finger at Mickey Mouse and trying to bring about a military coup in disneyland. Violence and violent insurrection is not an option and will bring disaster on the entire nation...only non violent action can achieve true and long lasting change. It's not a movement to overthrow the government it's a movement to place the initial human rights and protections of the constitution into effect and to bring a stop to the perversion and and manipulation of those rights by those who have no regard or loyalty for America or the constitution . Manipulating the 'right to bear arms' for a civil protest looks to me more like the ravings of someone from the one percent whose p*ed off with disenting voices and would like the government to simply shoot either the dissenting 99% or itself in the foot while the entire world falls down around everyones ears. Write Obama a strongly worded letter ...don't try and trick the non brainwashed populace into fulfilling your power hungry fantasy.... tut tut ....and you can stop trying to sneek the gold reserves out of the country too Mr Banker!! Hopefully , once Mr Obama get's five minutes to himself to check out what's realy going on in the world then he'll expose and address the failings and abuses of the constitution himself.

Yes I agree in no way did I mean to say to use violence but as we have known history, it eventually leads to violence because people get pushed over the limit such as in the American Revolution. Just look what is happening around the world, in Libya, Greece and other countries and so on. The shots fired I referred to is that someone out there is wanting to give Obama the message that people are fed up with the system of government. Obama and his cabinet and congressman and senators are all to blame because they just line their pockets full of dirty money from the corporate end. I do understand your point of view by the way and I respect it.

As much of a disappointment he may be, a vote for anyone who is not Obama is a vote for the 1%.

A third party candidate has ZERO chance of being elected in the rigged system we are fighting. And even if they were somehow miraculously elected, then what? They still have to deal with Congress.

Take Ron Lawl as an example. If by some chance he was able to be elected either as the Republican nominee, or as a 3rd party candidate, then what? What parts of his platform would he have the votes to get pushed through Congress?

He might have the votes to kill the Department of Education. That surely won't help the 99%.

I'm sure he would have the votes to kill any taxes he wanted to, such as killing the gasoline tax as he has advocated.

He would have the votes to end subsidies of alternative fuels, as he has called for, but not the votes to end them for oil, as he has stated he wants.

He MIGHT have enough votes to slash the budget for the "war on drugs", but surely not for the repeal of prohibition.

In the end we would end up with even more gridlock than we have now, basically nothing would get done except for a few things that would hurt the 99%

Of course we all know what would happen if we put another member of the party of the rich in there.
