Forum Post: America, Land of the Hungry & Home of the Jobless?

Due to a terminal medical condition, I no longer drive. However, I'm still capable of walking to a bus stop and riding a bus. When doing this, I never fail to meet several hungry, homeless people asking for some change or a few dollars. Most of them are polite and non-threatening, but I have been concerned for my safety on a few occasions. The point is that America is full of hungry, homeless people during the so-called recession (government terminolgy for the Greatest Depression). None of this bodes well for those politicians who serve - NOT THE PEOPLE - but only those who bribe and control them. Can we all say: CONTROLLED BY WALL STREET? The 1% may not know where this will end, but we do. .
