Agreed, so let's start the war against Injustice by starting our own banks to double the income of the Bottom 99% of Workers, for many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 1% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves, and thus doubling our income from Bank Profits which are 40% of all Corporate Profits; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 1% Management System of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.

Consequently, you have no choice but to become Candidates (or Leaders) yourselves as Bank Owner-Voters according to your current Occupations & Generations.

Some people are natural leaders...but they teach best by example rather than dictating anything. When a person has authority it's over an idea or invention that they can share with people but not exercise authority over people...I know that's not what you meant by leader ..you mean like a representative...but I think this is too early ...and there are so many people right having their world shattered because they are realizing things aren't what they thought.

Leadership, no. Executive organization? Yes, I think I'd like to see that.

All I mean is that I don't want to see ideological dictation, but I do want to see groups authorized to organize, plan events, and make practical on-the-ground decisions. Like, for example, how to manage these forums. Or how to get bathroom permits. Or which effin' street to go down when we're all marching to Times Square.

We don't need a leader. What we need are well informed spokespeople for the movement in every city throughout the United States where a movement exists. There should be a forum for exchange of information, and the most well informed individuals within these groups should be assembled to start disseminating that information. Perhaps it should be individuals who are professionals or scholars in those particular fields or industry. They should be well versed, and these are the people that should rise from amidst all this discussion about leadership.

OK lets have a primary. Lets have debates.

Let's hear each candidate to lead this movement. Then the President of OWS can choose a cabinet and the members can choose delegates in every state district to run for office. We must devote at least 8 hours each day to give all the candidates who want their strategy hear at least a half hour to speak.

I would choose the Staten island Ferry because it has bathrooms and benches. Its free to the public.

Forget any signs. We need to discuss the leadership or nothing will happen.

A leader is dangerous. One, they could hijack the movement for their own ends. Two it gives the media a target. If the "leader" has anything in his/her background that makes them scary or questionable, it will be used to discredit the movement itself.

We are safer without one. Our strength is in our diversity, and in our amorphousness. Its harder without one, but its safer and more representative of our whole movement not to have one.

Suffer unto me those who have not the balls to say what they really want to say. This species is failing and has none to blame but it's self. The dragons sit in their high rises and horde their gold, least the peasant flock abscond. They who do the work, are never the one's who reap the benefits and woe unto those who try. Greed drives the human waste, consumers one and all, eating and shitting, while eating shit from above.
