NFL? NHL? MLB? PGA Tour? Or will competitive competition be wiped out?

When and where have we said anything about putting caps on wages? You trolls are humorous.

In the time it took to develop a clear-er message the press went out and asked people at OWS why they were there and they answered all sorts of things. Hence Fox news can now say that 'you' support salary caps because two ladies in Zuccotti said that 'you' did. Right or wrong. That's about the time it happened.

ON the flipside; I've heard how a federal direct democracy wont take away my freedom replacing it with a majority rules system from which I can not escape barring emigrating from my home country. So in all honesty people are misinformed across the board either manipulatively or genuinely mistaken. :)

It sucks.

Come on. I've seen numerous posts about capping wages and restricting wealth.

But they are the 1 percent.

So not only are you going to misconstrue what we are talking about, you are going to put together the weakest strawman argument that you can think of to? What are the depths of right wing dishonesty I wonder?

They are the rich. NBA players are the 1 percent. Why is the 99 percent not outraged?

Because sports are irrelevant. Whens the last time the pro sports people lobbied congress to pass a patriot act type piece of legislation?

If you don't think professional sports influence politics with money you are dreaming.

What are you talking about? Pro sports money influence in politics is minimal at best. To be quite honest, I don't see anything threatening from that side. I think the players don't deserve multimillion dollar contracts(mainly the nfl, nba, and nbl because they aren't really doing anything special...but thats a whole other rant),but thats neither here nor there.

It's amazing how all your arguments can be debunked with a simple copy and paste.

Yeah open secrets is soooooooo credible.

The NBA should be given to the Kardashian sisters.

Come on .... Who doesn't want to see "Commissioner Kim"?

[-] 1 points by MellowYellow (52) 13 years ago

If a citizen decides to make the notion of caps, that is their choice. OWS has never said we should, nor is it in the official grievances.

I think they should make as much as they do now but I'd like to see the net raised to 14 feet.
