I hate the things but these TV spambot posts seem to be a perfect example of what CAPTCHA codes are designed to prevent.
There is a captcha, or some variation. They are not BOTS they have been threatening me on my PMS and are people; the admins need to monitor the first post, and delete accounts starting trouble....
They should be monitoring IP addresses and blocking (they are the same people) or using certain phrases to monitor, such as WATCH, LIVE, (((Free)), Symbols, Ottowa, Basketball, NCAA, etc and block anything containing this content as a filter.
Your right. This is a different animal then.
Except for having a lot of people gang up on their personal message it will require an administrative fix. Ganging up on their personal messages is limited since you or I can only send 15 personal messages a day. If posting new threads of limited to one every three(?) hours I would like to know how many of them it is that are doing this. With human registration and a 1 thread post limit every three hours they have to be a few people using a lot of registrations or be a lot of people.
