We do believe it is in the 12th hour. With ACTA enforcement The Internet will most likely not exist in its free form in less than 10 years.

Be prepared for a shutdown of the web and be prepared for underground networking in the future.

ACTA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Counterfeiting_Trade_Agreement

ACTA is one more offensive against the sharing of culture on the Internet. ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) is an agreement secretly negotiated by a small "club" of like-minded countries (39 countries, including the 27 of the European Union, the United States, Japan, etc). Negotiated instead of being democratically debated, ACTA bypasses parliaments and international organizations to dictate a repressive logic dictated by the entertainment industries.

ACTA would impose new criminal sanctions forcing Internet actors to monitor and censor online communications. It is thus a major threat to freedom of expression online and creates legal uncertainty for Internet companies. In the name of trademarks and patents, it would also hamper access to generic medicines in poor countries.

Even if 99% or 6.999 Billion people set out to fight against the %1 we are going to loose the battle and the war. A third World War will ignite and OWS and anti-anything-governments-or-banks will need to prepare themselves post-WWIII or it will be hell on earth like never before.

A future where every single thing you do is monitored and there is absolutely no freedom left. Even your private toilets will be monitored and no people will dare to speak to each another and earlier dictatorships will look like kindergarten compared to the future world society governed by less than a 100 people.

What can we do? Basically we do believe it is too late. Unless we start to use the law to win back our world. But it is probably too late. Nobody listened while there was still time and we can go as far back as 3000 years and even more and see where today's totalitarianism started.

Reason why it is too late is also because most people are plainly ignorant and (sad to say) stupid.

NB. We no longer respond unless it is positive thinking and positive criticism. We are no longer wasting our time with imbeciles trying to be smart without proving their nonsense. Provide links and information and proof if you want a reply.

Can't believe they're still trying to pass bogus laws and policies during such a time. This really illustrates that public officials and they're coporate owners: 1: are indifferent to what's really going on in the world 2: believe that the 99% have no real power to stop their plan to dominant the world's economy (including what we eat, how we eat and how much, what kinds of medicines we can and can't have, and so much more). 3: That we're too stupid to get what they're trying to feed us.

I'll promise you this. The day you take away my freedom is the day that I give my soul and spirit its freedom, the freedom that you so desperately want.

Yes, and OWS are applying ACTA regulations and using censorship as we speak. OWS is most likely started by the %1 to test how far they can provoke the 99% to start the enforcement of ACTA among other bills already in action to take away any last liberty you have.

They are so darn resilient, aren't they? I just read earlier today about the censoring of open-source OSes, ie. Linux, Unix, and the rest of the fam. Honestly, I was planning on installing opensuse then...that kinda prolonged it after the fact.

Opensuse or whatever OS you choose same same; the internet is already controlled and perhaps you can use Opensuse or other open source OS but only to tinker locally. Do not even plug in to the web because it is and will be more so monitored until you realize you are safer shutting it down.
