I think it's a pony show. If Obama were pro-occupy wall street he'd be in favor of anarchy right now. There are no solid socialist plans, nor are there enough americans pro-socialism. Truth is, Obama's pockets are lined with money from wall street. Frankly, it's the voter's fault for electing officials that bailed out wall street. I faintly hear Pelosy and Baiden saying "we must!"

Um... you're kidding, right? The Prez being in favor of anarchy? Solid socialist plans? Did you see what the republicans did to a solidly pro- big insurance, pro- big pharma health plan?

And you lose me when you trash Pelosi + Biden too. They're not the enemy – at all.

I like survival of the fittest when it comes to weeding out business, banks and people. We should not have bailed out banks that were failing. It's like rewarding a prison that lets its prisoners escape. I think it was wrong for everyone on both sides of the aisle to have voted to bail out these big banks.

that was a quick turn around!

No, I'm still against biden (sorry i spelled his name wrong) and pelosi. Biden was for the auto bailout. Pelosi was for the bank bailout. Here's the biden piece: http://townhall.com/tipsheet/kevinglass/2011/05/28/biden_falsely_touts_auto_bailout_success

I love the Auto bailout. We need to do more to help Detroit. American Cars? American industry? I'm for that too. Its one of too few successes we've had in the last few years, since the collapse.

You know, as much as I really take pride that automobiles originated in the United States... it's just like any good or comodity. The best product wins, unfortunately. If Ford and Chevy made cars that Americans demanded more of-- they wouldn't need the bailout... Honda or a foreign stared company would... but it wasn't the case, sadly. I believe in MADE in AMERICA. I champion it... but sadly... the consumers showed otherwise.

I mean, I try everyday to look at necessary products and choose the one that's made in America. But if the cost outweighs the benefit... it's so hard not to buy foreign. Look at the back of an iPhone. "Made in China." It breaks my heart. For that technology I would have paid an extra $100 to have it made in America. Why is no one angry at Apple? (sorry I think I'm deviating from our original conversation now)

Oh, I could go on about the iPhone in China thing... Read Mike Daisey for that story. Still I mourn Steve Jobs, I'm a Mac.

But I digress too... The auto industry has to make cars that utilize the best in new clean fuel technology. I still support investing in that. For a multitude of reasons, including saving Detroit.

I need to read that. It really bothered me to look at mac products and say designed in California. made in China. I was like, why???
