Please don't allow OWS to become a movement that demonizes people who are wealthy or demonizes capitalism. Not all people who work on Wall Street are corrupt. Not all people whose net worth is in the millions are corrupt. Demonizing the entire group of them, in my opinion, is the wrong way to go. Doing so will allow those who don't want you to succeed to accuse OWS of wanting socialism, which is a dirty word. It shouldn't be about wealth re-distribution. In my humble opinion, OWS should be about the corruption that has hijacked the type of capitalism that existed from between around 1940 and 1980. This was a time of the rise of the middle class - a time when more people did well. During this period, we still had those people who were more well off than others - which is OK. What OWS should concentrate on is the PERVERSION of capitalism that began, in my estimation, around 1980. The one demand that will have the most support - the one that most people can agree on - is MONEY OUT OF POLITICS.

Fix that and a lot of the other things that are wrong with this country will eventually be fixed as well.

Close but no cigar. You are right that money and successful people who do good things are not the enemy. However the enemies are the ones who make the 99% of the lives of people a living hell. The people who work to make you feel like shit and put you down and bully you all the time 24/7 are the ones who are your enemies. They can be anybody at any level of life. Top Bankers and government people down to the lower levels of life. It is not so much the system as it is the evil people who are in it, so the 1% are the evil people who do evil things most all of the time. Don't shoot the good guys who might act evil some of the time, the really evil ones are the ones who work at destroying peoples lives most all the time. They are your real target.

"Close but no cigar".

So, I'm sitting here, reading your comment - and I'm thinking that we're pretty much on the same page. Not sure where your "close but no cigar" comment comes from. Care to expand?
