A Valentine Poem to the Powers That Be,

No more deceit! No more lies! We’ve heard all of the people’s cries!

“What you reap, you also will sow”. So, why do you stoop so incredibly low?

You know “what is hidden will come to light”!? And we will not give up the fight!

By what you’ve done, our hearts are broken! The deceit you hold and the lies you’ve spoken!

We have had enough. So, why not be real? Why not just let this country heal?

We have awakened! WE have seen the facts! We know your motives behind your acts!

So, please stand for the needs of humanity! Then, maybe we can stop this insanity!

We stand united! We stand in peace! We declare that this tyranny will cease!

We live in faith! We live in compassion! Our love is a chain reaction!

We do forgive and we want to thrive! We want more than to just be alive!

We are in this place for a reason, but we won’t accept your insufferable treason!

What really matters is love and not how you act and you know that it’s a definite fact
