8 arrested this afternoon in Union Square, NYC. It was cold, but those who attended Occupy Federal Reserve commemorated and celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy to emancipate the lower classes of this world into a place that which our ancestors fought tooth and nail to keep the rights and liberties of people free. Free of war, free of segregation, free of discrimination, free of charge. Today we smiled in the eye of the blue sky, the sunshine was out over New York City, it was cold but we rejoiced in the thought of a man who said we can.. and we will!! :)
