Forum Post: A reminder, for Peace's sake

Reading these posts, I am truly shocked and saddened by the amount of strife and hatred that is bandied about. Malice will get us nowhere. This is, as far as I see, a tax reform movement that calls for accountability and fiscal responsibility on the part of the government and on corporations nationwide, and issue which I can understand being upset about if the solutions go against what you want to see. But the conversation (and with it, the answers) won't progress if we behave like children. I'd like to have intelligent discussions and make real change wherever it needs to be made - I'm sure you would, too - and we won't be able to do that unless we're willing to calm down and all of us (all of us) be decent to each other. We are all in this struggle together, we are all in this failing economy together, we all are or know someone who is fighting for a job or worried about food or rent. This problem is too big for us to work divided, and too dire for us to fight.
