No thanks. Britain aint doing so hot itself. Don't go acting like your Britain is this amazing place that rules perfectly. Don't forget about when you guys got really broke before your Euro came about
The "Winter of Discontent" is an expression, popularised by the British media, referring to the winter of 1978–79. A little similar to our problem actually.

that is the dumbest basis for such a massive scale of change that I've ever heard. Considering my family has no ties to British decent I find your justification odd. What about all the Germans, Chinese, Mexicans, Arabs, Africans, and Russians, and all the other people that are now Americans?

No. You are incredibly misguided. I'm done talking to you.

Considering the British can't even rule themselves I highly doubt your argument, but just for argument sake, how exactly do you think that will come about?

The only way the U.S. will lose it's sovereignty is when another country comes and trys to take it. Good luck with that! They have the most powerful military in the world and there isn't a close second. I have study world military power for over 22 years now and there isn't even a close second.

That is only if you discount the patriotism and dedication of the American people. This was the belief prior to WWII and that didn't work out so well for the Germans or Japs.

You have never lost that option, you just have to be the first to be willing to use it. Keep in mind that there is also a huge difference in serving you country and going to war because you are ordered to and defending your homeland. The mind frame of the latter has proven through out history to be the much harder to defeat. I don't know if you actually study history but the Japanese had several opportunities to avoid what ultimatly happened and they chose not to. It is very regretable that many hundreds of thousands died but how many more remained alive because that was the conclusion of the war. Also, you are very quick to demonize America for that but let us also not forget the indescrimenent bombing the Germans did in England and France.
