The Occupy Wall Street movement needs to form a coalition and then needs to nominate a new candidate for the 2012 presidential election.
a Ron Paul / Ralph Nader ticket?!?
And hand the white house to the Republicans again? No thank you. Historically, new parties have done better by targeting congress and state houses in the midterms, gaining experience and strength. Its too late to build the infrastructure broad enough to succeed for the WH at this point, but local elections are a whole different manner. All politics is local(or should be), and this movement is bottom up. Better to take control from the bottom up. Start with school boards, city councils, and county commissions. Then go to state legislatures, governors and congress.
Ralph Nader - NOT Ron Paul. Granted, there's much to like about Ron Paul, but he's against universal health care!!!
Ralph Nader is the perfect candidate
Ralph Nader.
