In my opinion, if you really want to make an impact for your cause, Implore your members and supporters to put all their credit cards away, and boycott Black Friday. A one day, week, month of no credit card purchases would have a greater impact on Wall Street than a year of sitting in a park. It would also be a better gauge of your actual/real support. I would also stop frequenting 'Chain' type restaurants and retail outlets.

The basic concept of a 'movement' fails if you are not inflicting any discomfort on the opposing side, while you may be garnering sympathy for your plight, it has no meaning if it does not equate to any type of tangible loss on the opposing side.

Yes, that's a good tactic. There are tactics, and there are missions. What would be your mission?
