good stuff for all is nonsense. the social safety net is a constellation of federal, state and local programs to assist the needy, the hungry, the unemployed, the infirm and the homeless. it includes housing vouchers, shelter beds, food stamps, jobs training and unemployment benefits among other programs at risk as states and the federal government consider austerity measures.

How about something clear and specific.

Pass H.R. 1148: Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act

  1. It takes insider trading away from congressmen. It's currently legal for them.
  2. It is already introduced in the house. all it needs is political pressure.
  3. we cannot possibly get Wall Street ethics changed until we do it for our public servants first.
  4. We have the perfect political season to turn this single issue into real political currency for the OWS movement.

"Repair the social safety net" is a clear message? Why not add a 7th item, "Good stuff for all!"? Weird.
