Looking back over the year I came upon some press conferences with the Koch brother’s footman (governor of Wisconsin, Mr. Walker) and I noted the envy in his words when he spoke of the luxurious life of a Wisconsin High School teacher. So this is my Christmas wish for him, that Santa would wisk them both away from that horrible tax paying prison they live in and give them both secure jobs as Wisconsin High School teachers after all this is the time of year everyone should have their dreams come true.

I have no ill-will towards them. The Koch brothers have spent none of my money without my consent.

The Barackster on the other hand...

Ill will? I don't understand I am wishing for their happness. As far as gornverment spending,as it was with Bush before him, and so it goes, what do we do? Disband America?

When your debt is 100% of GDP, you at least try to slow down a bit.

When the Red Chinese are telling you that you're spending too much, you know that you have a problem.

Sorry it seemed you were concerned with consent not amount, but I guess when you concede the point best to move on to a new subject.

As a far as controlling government spending, I think the most effective way would be to enact an amendment that would automatically enact a tax increase on incomes over one million dollars to repay any debt incurred the year before. Since these are the people who pay for the political campaigns, the politicians would listen to them and make sure there was no deficit spending.

I concede nothing to your uneducated lines of debate.

Your foolish idea would just cause more businesses to move overseas and outsource and change their headquarters to overseas countries (Switzerland, Singapore, most of Asia, etc) with friendlier tax schemes. We're in a global economy - you'd better get used to it.

The iron first of the government mentality didn't work in Soviet Russia, the east bloc, Cuba and it won't work here. Learn history and economics.

How interesting you don’t concede the point yet you don’t return to defend it? What bizarre debate technique is that? If you need to you can refer to your notes on your first point.

If you want to control governments spending why oppose effective action?

Effective action is to vote the spenders out and move to a flat tax with no deduction and loopholes for anyone, not this progressive BS tax we have today.

Good morning are you still onsite? I do think some flat tax would be good.

Public financing for public elections

Flat rate Social Security Tax, first dollar to last all forms of income

Index minimum wage to the average increase in CEO pay for the S&P 500

hmmm still no defense of the consent argument

As far as your predictions, I’ve heard conservatives make a lot of those like tax increases will cause the economy to go down, and tax cuts will cause it to go up, but they are almost always wrong.

Just for a laugh.
