Mr.1% Jay-Z is sure capitalizing on OWS with his own t-shirt. He'd profitize anything, he has no cred.

I agree. Word has it he cancelled his 'Occupy All Streets' t-shirts, probably because all the bad press he was getting. Which, in my opinion, was just as bad as starting it to begin with. If he wanted to change the bad press to GOOD he should have continued the line and donated the proceeds. THAT would've been the right thing to do.

Yes! He should've kept producing the shirts and donate the proceeds, but he's totally about profit for himself.

Yep, which is sad. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those shirts though. Being a limited run, I'd pack it away in a drawer and give it to my grandson. Might be a nice collector's item someday.

Nobody is fooled by your scam to corporate OWS

any person can understand that this organization in this is not a scam it is supply fellow people with a scene of synchronicity in wear at a reasonable price . remember how .org works donate or people donate where do you think the donation for food , first aid ect and cloth why not synchronize with gear

do you think that it would be easier for people who do not have jobs to get message out think of all the people you have protesting around with a 99% Shirt. that speads the message like it should "Think like the enemy and defeat the enemy"

i definitely agree with you completely, but there are people trying to profit, it's an odd situation kind of a catch 22

[-] 1 points by cybock (5) from New York, NY 13 years ago

catch 22 is a roman mind game ... you got to have supply yes i am real and suffer from epileptic seizors and no joke i am just trying to help make a difference ... wen i can't drive to be there.

I agree with you. It's a viable idea. To make it credible, offer to donate a certain amount to charity. It would give some of the more hard-core 'anti-capitalist' types less to find fault with. Personally, I have no problem with the idea, nor should any open-minded person. Good luck.
