Why not hit the politicians where it hurts? If 99% of us are oppressed why should we continue to pay the government to trample on us. If the 99% skips out on taxes next year, surely the government wont have the money it needs to operate properly nor will they have the necessary money to keep up with the extra cash they need to print and dont have. Maybe they'll listen then.
Tax breaks for Hollywood. Did you catch that?
TAX BREAKS FOR FILTHY DISGUSTING RICH HOLLYWOOD PIGS.

That sounds fun but we cannot do this. Even though we have had certain services cut drastically, we still have our own people that we need to try to take care of for as long as we can.
Through the process of withholding most tax dollars are already in the hands of government. People see the oppression as being forced to pay into wasteful and ineffective government programs. This puts about half of your 99% against the other half right from the start.
The portion of the 99% that pay tax are torn between wanting the rich to pay more and wanting to give less of their own taxes away to government programs. If you could prevent government from collecting, who would it really hurt? You'd start a class war between these two groups within the 99%.
Would be a nice thought I highly doubt they care... Governments using money we don't already have anyways. Just writing "I.O.U's" and sinking us into debt
How do you stop them from taking the taxes out of your paycheck before the employer gives it to you?
File W2 as many "dependent exemptions" as possible. More money in check, not all but more in your pocket and less in the till for govt. Or ask to go to C2c/1099 status, no taxes withheld. Only do this if you are serious, as employer may not allow - or may require you to carry workers comp ins/liability ins. depending on line of work.
