Just an update on some climate issues.

The only thing that will stop fossil fuel is cheap, widespread availability of alternative fuels and better technology that can replace it. Some alternatives are being developed, but it will probably take several generations before we significantly reduce fossil fuel. However, oil and gas shortages will play a big role in how fast we can get away from it.
Give up the car! Move close to work!

I know a little about oil. I worked on an oil drilling rig after I got out of the Army, before I started college. Compared to most people I don’t drive much. I’m retired and don’t have to drive to work. I live within walking distance to most places I need to go. But I still own three vehicles, the wife’s car, my truck and a motorcycle. Old habits are hard to break.
Whatever effort you can make is appreciated and brings us that much closer to our goal of saving the planet for our children, getting out (& ending the killing) of oil rich countries and saving money.
The people protesting/demonstrating for divestment from fossil fuel corps can help hasten the spread of green tech.
Repubs must stop colluding with fossil fuel corps.

That'll do it.
Fake protesters hire by dishonest fossil fuel corps
