I was rummaging through some posts on youtube last night and I'm giving Obama a pass. Every single hawk on Fox is taking aim at the guy. They want to go into Syria like there's no tomorrow if he doesn't. They're foaming at the mouth with blood for cryin' out loud. No lie! The guy is being blasted 24/7 for not being a war hungry wolf. Charles "the Sour" doesn't even want to talk about it anymore he's so beside himself. Craaaaazzzzzzyyyyy People! Johnny get your nukes!

Huh - maybe "they" would like to go. " They " are so anxious they should hop on a plane and go merc all over Asshats butt. Hell somebody please offer them the chance - in a very public manner. Lets just see how eager they really are.

[-] -1 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

Exactly. The right was going to go nuts regardless what he did, thats just what they do.

When we live in a time where dropping bombs isnt considered an act of war, and the people seem to gobble it all up, where does one turn for some real coverage?

[-] 2 points by LeoYo (5909) 11 years ago

We live in a time in which dropping bombs on others isn't considered an act of war and using napalm or depleted uranium weapons is never considered to be chemical warfare but let anyone drop a bomb on a mere U.S. interest and suddenly an act of war will be recognized.

[-] -2 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

We stated the mere blockage of the hormuz would be considered an act of war.

And then dropped more bombs the following week.

What a world.

US drone strike kills six in Pakistan

offered protection by Octavius

who killed endorsement while out in the sticks

[-] -2 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

Kill six to get one. That outta slow down the hate.

Unreal.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

ya who can take the republican seriously

when Rand Paul describe the middle east as muslims killing christains

mid-evil bullshit

I doubt Republicans believe in their own rhetoric

[-] 0 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

Correct. The right wing is disease. Their sheep don't get it, though. They still talk about free markets, (which never really existed. PERIOD), whilst they grapple with the no-bid contracts. Ten years later, they're ready to say they never agreed with those. Bullshit.

Dog! I want my thumbs, man. That said, right now, I'd say there are a few in the animal kingdom a bit smarter already. I think Devo got it right. I think we're dropping on the evolutionary scale.

ZD is actually a good guy. We used to hang out together back in the '70's.

I cannot believe I used to wear that mustache.

[-] -3 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

Who?

Go hit the phones for the guy and beat that war drum some more.

You want war? Get your old ass over there and lead from the front.

Go over there and bring all your hard talk with ya...

[-] -3 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

Does anyone really think Obama is any better than Bush? Both are war mongers. Both are arrogant jerks who are destroying the US. Bush should have been charged with war crimes and Obama should be institutionalized for his own good as well as ours. Both were\are a danger to the world.

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

OK, Vlad!

[-] -3 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

Maybe Vladi's words should have been taken as a wake up call. US politicians are a little arrogant.

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Of course it depends on which politicians; but not nearly as arrogant as your and zim's replies exhibit public bigotry, ignorance and I'm sorry to say dishonesty! I advocate for and respect everyone's right to be wrong, but not to spread lies. That's the job of Fox Lies and Hate-Wing radio!

[+] -4 points by zimvind (-157) 11 years ago

You, WIlly are a hoot, too. Sadly, you are serious though

I am still waiting for one well reasoned rebuttal to anything we have discussed. You seem to have insults and intelligent conversation confused

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Oh, you want a rebuttal, do ya? OK, I'll give you a rebuttal!

[+] -5 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

?? What lies? Politicians are probably the most group on earth. But my point is both Bush and Obama act as war mongers. NO WAR!!.

[-] 1 points by doitagain (234) from Brooklyn, NY 11 years ago

it doesn't matter how big IQ does the president has. They all have to go to war, it doesn't matter if he black or white. Who is the head of the country? The President! Who stands on top of the president??? Definitely not GOD. But if the President will be bright enough to start the war against banking system, - he will perish as JFK

[-] 0 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Then the president is in control of the drones, and dozens of specialist teams of infiltrators and assassins.

You think he's gonna cut off his nose, just to spite his face?

It costs a lot of money to win an election in America.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Obama is light years better than Bush, it's ridiculous to compare them. Can you name one good thing Bush did for the country? Now name one thing a Con did since Eisenhower.

[-] -1 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

Agreed. Forget the politicians a second. There's 2 groups of people who enter the voting booths; those who vote repug and those who vote dem. there are others, unfortunately insignificant-with the exception of the koch, er, I mean tea party. It must be tough for that first group of people, (repug), to admit they voted in the one who exponentiated an already pathetic mess beyond comprehension. It's also gotta be tough trying to reconcile the many years of complete ignorance they've been living in. Now they wanna talk about Obama? Fuck them. Real people know Clinton and Obama are republican lite. Now these blinders wanna say we have no rights because of obama? that's what happens when you are so damned ignorant, you don't even know what an oxymoron the 'patriot' act is. If they could just say 'I was ignorant moron who voted for Bush. PLLLLEEEASSSSE FORGIVE ME! ' But no, and so I say don't give them a breadcrumb----not a half.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Let's get people to VOTE!!!

Less than HALF do!!!

[-] 0 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

It is important to vote. I knew when Obama first ran there would not be the change he spoke of. It's incredibly disheartening to hear a crowd respond so strongly to stuff you know he'll never get done, He spoke of getting rid of lobbyists. Remember? Now that would be an excellent change. A great change. An unprecedented overdue and necessary change. But I knew neither dem nor repug would allow it. It has enriched them too much. Voting dem is a bandaid, but voting repug is a cataclysm. That's why people should vote, to put off the inevitable destruction and keep a glimmer of hope alive.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

If we snapped out of this contrived apathy, indifference, ignorance and revulsion, we could dispel cataclysm, purge our reps of corporatists, and bring in alternatives. It's a hard row to hoe, but the scoundrels NEVER stop trying, NEITHER should WE!

[-] -1 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

Well, that's why I suggested a 100-million man march on Washington. Unfortunately, it was interpreted as a racial thing. But, it does open a whole new can of worms. How do dispel racism at least enough to find commonality? You see, our government, white & black, have been the biggest proponent of racism from the get go. Did you ever wonder why so little racism exists at the very top? It's because lotsa green erases color -that is unless it translates into another opportunity to make more green. The poh boy needn't a lot of green, but he need get a little more brain power.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Snap out of the double talk!

[-] -1 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

But is it? Aren't we speaking of the apathy, the cataclysm? In simple, how do we dispel enough differences to get 99% in agreement? Voting doesn't dispel it. It widens it. Can you go to the coffee shop today and get 100% agreement from a total stranger in your arguments?. It is simple to state. Much tougher to fix. You know that.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Just shut the fuck up and VOTE!

[-] -1 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

OK. Don't go all emotional on me. That's a given, sir. Why else would I write this? If we had a pub in office now, we already be bombing.

[-] -2 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

Not sure I agree that Obama is much better than Bush. Obama is certainly smarter, but he’s just screwing us in a different way. He’s taking away our privacy and attempts to side step the constitution every chance he gets. Obama also hasn’t made any serious effort to get our troops home and is just as bad as Bush when it comes to wanting war. I say to hell with both of them.

Also, I liked Ike. I always thought it was cool htat a career military General was the one who warned us about the military industrial complex (1960 speech). He did three significant things. He got the government involved in civil rights (Little Rock, 1954), started building the US highway system and warned us of the military industrial complex. I wish he had done something about the Sen. Joe McCarthy hearings.

A cowboy or a Chicago thug. You'd think a country as wealthy and educated as ours could do better

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

This is what happens when petulant Dems don't Vote in midterms like 2010, letting in all the Teabag Taliban, holding Congress and certain states hostage.

2014 Vote, 2010 never again!

[-] -3 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

Yes, it's true. It's just that I was listening to Charles Krauthammer. He's what is considered the voice of reason on the right. I could have switched to CNN, but I know I'd only be disappointed further.

[+] -4 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

Yea, CNN seems to anger a lot of people. I avoid as much cable news as I can.

[+] -4 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

That's good 99% of the time. Charles "the Sour" is a Fox commentator, though,

[+] -4 points by zimvind (-157) 11 years ago

I am afraid I don't understand why, or in what way you are giving Obumbler a pass. Are you saying you would have liked him to attack Syria, but since the folks on Fox want him to, now you don't?

I really don't see this as a partisan issue as it appears to be splitting both parties.

[+] -4 points by nazihunter (215) 11 years ago

I could answer you, but first I want to see your reading comprehension scores.
