The Koch's are and have always been...VERY effective. Look how few of us here comment on what they do.

They're busy now, funding anti-ACA propaganda.

I've been hearing some of it here for a while now.

They need to be diagnosed as mentally handicapped and removed from their money, or at least their ability to spend it buying governments.

[-] 0 points by TikiJ (-38) 11 years ago

ACA is fascist garbage, instead of getting care you are going to take lower middle class people's tax returns.

You're old enough you dont have to worry about it. The rest of us are going to get screwed. Just wait till the next guy comes in with his "tax"... probably schemed in retirement or some crap.

Here, do the math on someone making $13 an hour. This thing is going to screw a lot of people.

http://money.usnews.com/money/blogs/my-money/2013/05/07/the-obamacare-subsidy-you-could-be-missing

The previous conditions clause was great. The raise in medicaid was pathetic at best. The rest of it was all written by the insurance companies. Forced corporatism. We shouldnt be accepting of this at all, because if that is what a mandate 08 election of Dems got us, we are really really really screwed.

The Koch's love you

Did you help produce their "commercials"?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Liar - the Koch's love nothing and no-one - they just feed their greed and let the help think whatever they want as long as they follow orders. Nice of you to offer that sop anyway - the blind lackeys have little to make em feel good ( nothing ).

BTW - pretty funny - the sop - hahaha they love you - heheheee.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

No surprise - hey? Goes hand in hand with their fossil fuel global warming/climate change Denial - attack the science attack the admin and every thing it is involved in - Diss-information/Miss-information - Distractions - Lies - Shock Doctrine manufacturing consent. Do not point to individuals who are acting as roadblocks to improving our society = Boner, Bitch, Rand, etc - the ones screwing up legislation or holding it back.

Yep all part of the Corp(se)oRAT game. Include wallstreet in this as well.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

WallStreet funds, and then hides behind all of these kinds of people.

Libe(R)topians, one and all.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

The living dead - as they care nothing for life.

[-] -1 points by TikiJ (-38) 11 years ago

ACA basis was founded by Republicans back in the day. How Democrats convinced people that it was good for them is beyond me.

I really love how Democrats stated that forcing people to purchase from Wall St for their retirement was bad (I agree, I dont want that) but think that forcing people to buy from the insurance companies for their health is good.

I just dont get how anyone who is remotely liberal could think that forcing the poor to buy from a corrupted industry is the solution at all.

I hope no one thought I was going to let up on the Koch's, or ALEC, for that matter.

They sure haven't let up on us.

It seems that many once again got caught up in the issue free cult of "anti" posters around here ....again. ( anti-forum, anti-long time posters)

Thanks for the tweet............:)

When One sees posts about global warming and pollution and pesticides and GMO foods down voted - Heavily downvoted - with no comments to explain why the downvote happened - that is until later when they have not succeded in burying the post - well then One damn well knows there are shills who do not have any business being on this site - no "good" business. This I think would be apparent to all by now.

We are at the fork in the road -- continue our dependence on dirty, climate-changing fossil fuels or move towards a clean energy future?

Last week, President Obama shared a climate action plan that doubled down on clean energy and natural gas. Proposing we frack more to replace coal and ship natural gas overseas is a recipe for climate disaster.

Tell President Obama to rethink the role of natural gas. It's a fuel of the past, a threat to our communities and our health.

Drilling for natural gas means more climate pollution. Methane emissions from fracking -- leaking from wells throughout the drilling process -- are 72 to 105 times more potent than carbon dioxide.1 And we know the climate footprint of a fracked well is much larger than the well itself. The water, sand, and steel used to build and drill these wells is trucked in, redefining rush hour traffic in many parts of the country. 2

Send your message today. Tell the president that natural gas is not a climate solution.

Right now, decisions are being made about what it means to protect a community from fracking pollution, where natural gas companies can drill, and where to locate liquefied natural gas export terminals. Whether it's replacing coal-fired power plants with natural gas plants or shipping the gas to other countries -- our communities, public lands, and coasts are threatened by more fracking.

President Obama -- it is time to put the health of our communities first, protect our public lands from fracking, and stop the export of the natural gas.

Thank you for all you do,

Deb Nardone Director, Beyond Natural Gas Campaign Sierra Club

P.S. Let's send a strong message to President Obama. Will you share this email with five of your friends, family, and colleagues?

P.P.S. Want to learn more about the impacts of fracking on our communities and our country? Tune in to see Josh Fox's newest documentary, Gasland 2, on Monday, July 8th at 9 pm ET on HBO.

What I added:

YOU CAN NOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. End drilling and fracking for export. While strengthening the drive for Green energy production - industry - transportation DEVELOPMENT/IMPLEMENTATION.

Unfortunately, all that money and 400 signing on has created problems beyond what is apparent.

Will it take palm trees growing in New York City, before some people accept reality?

Will it take palm trees growing in New York City, before some people accept reality?

I hope before then - as they should have noted all the work building-up an extensive sea-wall - so that people didn't have to wear waders or hire a boat to get around town.

Perhaps a review of the "Koch" reality?

Polluting today, for a more profitable Planet tomorrow.

If there's anything left to pollute, by the time the Koch's and their cronies have finished with it.

Better buy those waders, before the price goes up.

Every thing you never wanted to know about fracking - BUT NEED TO PEOPLE: http://nofracking.com/

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Fracking, most residents spoken to here said, is simply a “bad idea” and one that would drastically change the environment around their proud city, home to some 30,000 people and one of the most diverse landscapes in the state. - See more at: http://www.occupy.com/article/californias-fracking-gone-wrong-part-3-monterrey-residents-are-resisting#sthash.1JA2cE92.dpuf

Some communities are waking-up but the bad news is the damage has been done and if they were able to get the fracking halted and the wells plugged - there is still all of that broken geological structure that is gonna continue to bleed crap into the land and water around it. They may be able to stop the well polluting the air ( at least directly ) but the land and water will be forever at risk and untrustworthy.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

And that is why they want to kill education - they are afraid these populations are gonna wake-up are gonna stop listening to their BS fossil fuel propaganda - meanwhile toxic sacrifice zones multiply and expand.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

How much have the Koch's and cronies paid so far to convince people that pollution doesn't matter?

Astronomical amounts that would been put to better use as taxes paid.

Meanwhile the pollution continues.

Enough money that they could already have paid for their transition over to producing clean energy.

"Enough money that they could already have paid for their transition over to producing clean energy"

LOL

Too much like work.

Too much like doing the right thing.

Like my sister said ( and I think we already knew awhile ago ):

They do not care - they have what they have and that is what they are gonna continue with.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

What they have is a disease called pleonexia.

The cure?

The Fletcher Memorial Home.

The real issue is getting people to believe it really is a disease.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

If only we had a surgeon general or something like an American medical association - Hey?

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Koch defenders?

Where are you?

Attacking posters to drive this down?

C'mon, tell us why this is a good thing.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Pro pollution people populating the forum??

Or are some just enamored with the latest attacks on forum posters?
