Occupy Wallstreet needs to establish its goals so that it's no longer dismissed as class warfare or as a bogus movement, I suggest the following:
End tax loopholes so that companies like GE pay their fair share (GE didn't pay any taxes last year because of tax loopholes)
End subsidies for oil companies, ethanol and corporate jet owners.
Let Bush tax cuts for wealthy expire and go back to Clinton-era taxes.
Amend the law to reflect that corporations are NOT people.
These are common sense ideas that our lawmakers should consider and take immediate action. Everyone needs to sacrifice in this economy, the middle class has seen and is going through a good share of sacrifice. If Wallstreet is making records profits and getting record bonuses, why are we giving them tax breaks, subsidies, tax loopholes and treating corporations like people? This needs to stop now. Lets start with these 4 simple goals.

Go to http://www.plainsite.org/ and submit your demands...
End all corporate welfare.
Keep the tax cuts.
Other than that - sounds good.
To achieve healthy capitalism and to protect the people from corporate abuses and corruption a new universal system of labeling of all products and services must be designed and implemented globally. The ingredients of each product or service are composed from not only the physical components but more importantly from the processes involved in the final output.
All corporations and businesses in general must be held accountable and be observed by consumers, employees, the community, and the state departments. For this purpose a tagging system shall be put in place to measure and publicize on any product and any service on the performance of the production business for the total and each of at least the following issues: Executive pay Excessive advertisement Unfair advertisement Labor welfare Unions’ participation Capital distribution Political leverage Environmental responsibility Social contributions Fair play Equal opportunities Financial transparency http://tariganter.wordpress.com/2011/10/17/ethical-corporatism-tagging-system/
Agree with your goals but I humbly suggest you change the term demands to goals. Kidnappers and terrorists have demands a peaceful movement should have goals.
Well I generally agree with you, but "demands" is the term used by the media, and didn't seem harmful to me. I went ahead and edited part of the post, though the subject can't be edited. I'm all for civility, if this helps get the message across.
Those things sound like they might work... but I worry that it would just be a bandaid that wouldn't really fix anything for the long-term. Please watch this video to see what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX1N3opw5eI
