This protest movement needs focus and a goal! Don't dilute the message of corruption and inequality.

28th Amendment! It does not exist but has been floating around as an idea for years. Push for it.

This starts to address the separation that has occurred between elected Representatives of the US and its people. Make them accountable for their actions, and to the laws they pass for the rest of us, but only to be followed by us, not them.

And if a political amendment isn't feasible how about an economic one?

Straight Tax across the board. All people. All income levels. No deductions. Supplement it with a modest national sales tax of 1-3% and be done with it.

Businesses pay a straight tax as well. All businesses. All sizes. No Deductions.

As a person or business you can easily plan for X amount due at the end of the year. Saves time, and energy with managing and processing taxes. The IRS wouldn't need to be so big. The form would be one sheet.

As it is now it's all a numbers GAME with people playing the system here, working an angle there. Stop.

X percentage of income period. National sales tax on all items between 1-3 percent with provision in the Amendment to never rise above 3 percent. (I'm just throwing out numbers, but really 1% on every sale in America would bring in HUGE numbers for Govt. to function.) ? Yeah/Nay? This has to have been discussed and looked at before.

Why is there such resistance to this idea? Perhaps some like the shadowy uncertainty of the current tax system?

28th and 29th Amendment. What about both?

What would this amendment say?

Despite the erroneous declarations of several of the "proposed" ideas for a 28th Amendment as pointed out in Snopes.com I think some would be quite useful.

Term limits. http://28th-amendment-term-limits-for-congress.rallycongress.com/

Public campaign financing ONLY. No more buying votes with 100+ million dollar campaigns.

All representatives use the Social Security system not FERS.

It would be a start.
