Forum Post: 2024?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This content is user submitted and not an official statement

This freakin guy is out of his mind. He hasnt done shit on the tax code, nothing on the trade policy, the Fed is printing our money out at alltime records, and he's INCREASED THE WARS.

Now he's locked us in over there........until..........

I am beyond being dismayed with this man. I am beyond being ashamed for voting for him. I am beyond being dismayed that I actually went door to door to help the cause.

I've accepted this for what it is. I was a political hack. I believed. I was so fuckin pissed at Bush, I jumped in with both feet, full steam ahead. I fell for the tricks. I fell for it, hook line and sinker.

But I do want to thank Obama for pushing me to dive even further, and grasp the money politics that dominates this country, both parties 100%. There is no anti-war party. There is no party that represents average Americans.

How about May 24, ......2012?

The bourgeousie indoctrinated you well just as they did redackdid. The proletariat can never expect any sort of honesty or "justice," as long as the state controls their lives.

You remind me of Trotsky after Stalin took power. Trotsky seemed so surprised that what he had initially supported: a strong central authority could so quickly corrupt socialist ideals and degenerate into nothing more than complete tyranny. Even up to his assassination Trotsky still believed in the rule of the state, blind even then to the simple fact that no matter how rulers are chosen, an instant class division is created.

this is why we need to remove 'elected representatives' from the equation; http://www.globalsafe.org

What happened till 2024?

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Signed onto an official pact with that shithead Karzai.

[-] 1 points by PeterKropotkin (1050) from Oakland, CA 12 years ago

Thats right this war will continue for another ten years. Thats the democrats and the self identified left will accept it like the sheep they are.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

Yep! "We have to vote democrat or the Republicans will get in there and do worse." Yeah, right. I'm trying to give new meaning to the word cheap. Its my only way to rebel. If the economy grows its not for lack of trying on my part to shove it in the other direction, straight down the toilet. I know, I should think of my fellow man and go run up some debts and boost the economy. I just can't make myself take out that loan or charge up the old credit card. I've never had a garden before, I do now. People aren't even people anymore, they are just good little shoppers. Keep doing what you have been doing and you'll just get more of the same.

[-] -2 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Anyone who supports these two parties needs to have their heads checked. This is disgusting.

[-] 0 points by PeterKropotkin (1050) from Oakland, CA 12 years ago

Not a single word about this from the moveon crowd on here. Oh thats right they abandoned the anti war movement in 2007. The Ted Nugent post gets over one hundred replies. Some right winger posts some bullshit post and you idiots are all over that. But the war being extended on a third world country that has already been at war for 30yrs and not a word.

I noticed none of the ineffectual establishment arm chair liberals have commented on this thread. I wonder why?

They are gutless and have no principle. Just like the die hards on the right.

If we could get them to to renounce their voter registrations, we may have a chance at changing things :)

[-] 0 points by PeterKropotkin (1050) from Oakland, CA 12 years ago

Them and groups like moveon.org would be marching and protesting in the streets if a Republican had done this. That is until they got a bunch of Democrats elected and then they would go home just like they did in 2007

I have sworn I will never vote for either corporate party again, at plenty of political rallies. And I wont. The choices leave me in the minority, but I refuse to support this level of disrespect of our country, our people and our future.

[-] 0 points by XenuLives (1645) from Charlotte, NC 12 years ago

You won't be in the minority for long. Let get started on a plan for 2014!

Thanks for the admission. But please understand your and many others lack of good judgement and ability to open your mind and really see what Obama was makes many of us doubt yours/others veracity when it comes to your support for OWS.

Me and thousands of other Americans saw Obama for what he was and knew he would do just what he has done. We weren't taken in "hook line and sinker". So if you/others were so wrong in your judgement of Obama how can you now be trusted? So many people both pro-Obama and disaffected Obama defectors like yourself are in full support of OWS just as they were with Obama. Many Americans like me sit back and see the same kind of blind allegiance and manic devotion to OWS as there was for Obama. Most Americans know that this will end in the same kind of disaster as "hope and change".

This is a pattern of Leftwing activists ideology playing it self out in the never ending hope of an eventual societal take over and mass domination resulting in a Communist or Socialist Tyranny.
This has been the Utopian dream of Progressives for over a hundred years in America.

OWS is just another vehicle.

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

May I ask how old you are? I was 26 when I hopped on board the Otrain, and honestly got most of my political knowledge from corporate media like Fox and CNN. I see through it all now, wished I had before.

Yes, the youth of OWS leads to some misguided statements. But the majority that were involved in the beginning were extremely keen on this corporate party/media nonsense. It was very refreshing.

A lot of the misinformed, along with a refusal to state any demands publicly (I even tried to stress at least stating What Occupy IS NOT in order to fight the media) and the overall chaos chased away a lot of really gifted people.

[-] -1 points by redackdid (-41) 12 years ago

I'm 52,so I've been around a little more and you being 26 at the time is an understandable youthful indiscretion I suppose. Perhaps when you get my age you might find yourself a full blown Conservative? Perhaps not, either way we live and we learn and sometimes the decisions made in our youth wind up shaping the rest of our lives.

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

I'll probably stay where I am now. Socially liberal- let live and be free. And fiscally conservative- there is only so much the gov can do before it gets too big and overly corrupted.

Do you still support the GOP? Dont tell me you are one of the sheep that is primarily concerned with not letting the other guy win, as opposed to creating something yourself?

[-] 1 points by DanielBarton (1345) 12 years ago

im like you and only 21 im happy i saw it so early

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Good job then. You are years ahead of the game. Eventually you wont be able to speak about politics with people because your disdain for media run bullshit wont allow you have a decent conversation.

[-] 1 points by DanielBarton (1345) 12 years ago

its already getting there

[-] -2 points by redackdid (-41) 12 years ago

" let live and be free" I'm a hardcore Conservative and I totally agree with that statement.

I support Conservative Republicans, not RINO's as the GOP is currently the only political vehicle that will support my Conservative Ideology in any way, shape or form.

I'm primarily concerned with defeating hardcore Leftist's/Progressives ideology and their supporters at the ballot box,as I believe their ideology is at odds with the Founders America and will bring about the destruction of the America my parents and grand parents grew up in. Even now my children will already know the burden of what Obama has inflicted on this country when they reach adulthood.

I am open to new ideas on improving the American/Capitalist/free market system and doing away with corruption without tyrannical regulation.

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Well then have fun supporting criminals and falling for the tricks. Die hard clowns like you make it really difficult to get any real change going. Its not that hard, we just need to get the sheep to slow down for a second.

Have fun voting for Republicrats. PS- name me three pieces of legislation they have reversed that give me some rights back that they already took...

[-] -1 points by redackdid (-41) 12 years ago

First, tell me what rights specifically have been taken from you? And when, who took them?

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Limitations on bar hours, limitations on protesting, limitations on food choices, healthcare has gone up, food and gas has gone up, got arrested for sticking up for somebody, voter registration rights have been taken, more red light cameras that I cannot contest, autobilling on the interstate that I do not have a say in, water and trash taxes up, less choices in prop insurance, all other ins rates have gone up, need gov approval to replace windows in a friends house, cannot paint a friends commercial building without a permit, vehicle registration has doubled, etc etc etc.

These are all in the last year. Its not hard to see this is becoming less free by the year. Nothing terribly major, just slowly chipping away at it.

[-] 0 points by redackdid (-41) 12 years ago

No shit,I agree with all those creeping incremental subtractions of our freedom and liberty. But,.....you are blaming Reps for all that?...."all in the last year"???....Obama,Harry,Janet and Eric run the joint now and the House Rep majority can't be blamed for all that (although Boehner is a pussy). I'm supporting REAL Conservative's to reverse exactly all the bullshit freedom robbing regulation that Leftist's and Progressive politicians cram down our throats.

Sounds like were talking about the same thing but for some reason you're blaming the wrong side.

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

I'm not blaming either side. Its usually either both of them passing it quickly and quitely (NDAA 93-7 in the Senate) or one or the other, with the other just making noise for the hell of it.

I can list plenty of examples of each side contributing to the above.

While I did "think" I followed politics before hand, I was primarily focused on partying :>)

[-] -1 points by redackdid (-41) 12 years ago

"I was primarily focused on partying"

Been there, done that,booze/drugs and women made the world go around for a quite a few years.

[-] -2 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

Occupy Afghanistan until 2024. Occupy Iraq forever. I didnt vote for this when I voted in 2008. I didnt talk about this when I campaigned in 2012. I didnt tell people in 2008 that if they voted for this man, we could then bomb Yemen, Somolia and Libya.
