John F. Kennedy’s nephew, Robert Kennedy, Jr., netted a $1.4 billion bailout for his company, BrightSource, through a loan guarantee issued by a former employee-turned Department of Energy official, Sanjay Wagle
It’s just one more in a string of eye-opening revelations by investigative journalist and CNN editor Peter Schweizer in his explosive new book, Throw Them All Out.
The details of how BrightSource managed to land its ten-figure taxpayer bailout have yet to emerge fully. However, one clue might be found in the person of Sanjay Wagle.
Wagle was one of the principals in Kennedy’s firm who raised money for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. When Obama won the White House, Wagle was installed at the Department of Energy (DOE), advising on energy grants.

Lately, everyday there's a new story of government excess. Yesterday the story was the the Dept of Justice wants to make it illegal to use fake identities on sites like Facebook and Match.com.
Here's the story: http://www.pcworld.com/article/243920/us_department_of_justice_seeks_law_against_lying_online.html
The DOJ just wants to make it easier to spy on users. I say let them get that info the old fashioned way. Earn it.
problem here is how much information and world wide think tank loss will occur.
explain? ok there are many many people who open up and express themselves and their ideas online comfortably who would not be so open on camera, on the radio, or even on a website where you knew their real name. a lot of people clam up. just how it is. I'm not defending either position, just pointing out a reality
You all complain and ask Congress to take action and say your vote counts when you couldn't be more wrong. Dd you know that only 61 percent of America voted during the presidential elections? How do you expect things to get done when some of you on this site don't even vote because "It doesn't count and corporations buy the elections?"
ok I'm trippin'.
not because of the exposure of the insider corruption within politics itself but the fact that a CNN reporter is actually investigating it while a democrat holds office. CNN along with MSNBC have been in bed with democrats for YEARS. could this be a turn for the better? Finally some non-biased news from our traditionally blue colored main stream media?
OWS could very well be having an effect.
MSNBC Morning Joe at 4:30am. a liberal and a republican. CNN only seems bias because their anchors are pompous idiots, they haven't enough sense to lean one way or the other.
