Campaign financing must be changed. The single most important focus of the Wall Street protests needs to be to change our campaign financing. It may take a constitutional amendment to force the financing of political campaigns with public money only. The root cause of most of the absurdity that has gone on in Washington is our so-called free speech of allowing special interests to donate (read: make our policy) to those we elect. If accomplished, we the people will have our voices back to make sensible policy for all the people, not just those with large wallets.
