1% = Corporations; who seem to have more influence in politics than... 99% = People (everyone rich and poor)
Then comes a huge American deaths. "Enemies" will leave to work in China and the United States capture the aggressive communists.

Hate to break it to you, but your Mommy and Daddy probably invested in corporation stocks to save for your college education, house, etc.
I have nothing against corporations in and of themselves. What I have a problem with is 1% buying their representation in government, 99% are left with the scraps. Corporations just happen to be a large part of this.
1% has unfair influence in government. Money is their tool. Money speaks too loudly in our government and it is drowning out the voices of the 99%. I want my fair and equal representation in government. This is my right and the right of all of us.
I have a slightly different take - 1% buys their representation in government 99% are left with the scraps
I agree, its all about money and politics. We eliminated religious control of government (separation of church & state), we can eliminate corporate control (separation of corps & state).
This is certainly the root cause of so many of our problems. If we can get this 1 thing fixed , we have the chance to fix everything else too!
This 1 thing is bigger than it seems, but if all 99% of us can grasp the reasoning behind this movement it will be successful in no time...the biggest roadblock is corporate media and the people they influence followed by this movements momentum and desire to make this change.
I ignore the media. Many people do not trust them. Somebody else told me "the 99% trust eachother". The right message will bubble up organically in time.
I have been here listening and talking to people for 10 days. What a difference from when I first got involved. Night and Day. So many people here talking about Election Reform now! But there are still many many more people to reach. Check the post above from BellCurve.
I'm not so sure about "no time" though. We can only hope. Because I worry about our fellow protesters on the ground.
Thank you for being there, it means a lot (more than you think). The only reliable source of news is from personal research and investigations, exactly what you just described. It's not just the media, its politicians too, from the "gulf of tonkin" in Vietnam to "WMDs" in Iraq and now the "nuclear threat" in Iran. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I still think, with hope, this protest will catalyze the long awaited transition in no time. Especially if there are more people like you out there ;)
Thats so sweet of you to say! There are many good and smart people in the protest. We're all here for eachother!
