Some say no, some say yes.
DKAtoday says we should screen new users. To me, that sounds like what the NSA would want to do. Not something that interests me. He should be the first to submit to screening if he is serious about that. Start by Eating your own pudding I say.
Struggleforfreedom80 says we should have the forum open for signups once every 2 weeks or so. This could work. If the Twinkle Team signs up again, we can just ban them and they'll have to wait another two weeks. Some forums do this.
Others like Renneye call for the forum to be opened up all the time. That sounds like a recipe for Twinkle Team style disaster to me.
We should vote no?
- option 1 (DKA's NSA style info gathering technique)
- option 2 (struggleforfreedom80 - open/closed for business)
- option 3 renneye's free for all.
What say ye?
