WHAT ??? no coverage on corporate news? Why am not shocked? i am proud of you all!! Found out watching "Current T.V." and i have read nothing either from the trash rags. I guess at my age (60) I will have to check my lap top for real news!! Arrested for wearing masks? Of course they want to view the film to I.D. people. Thank you emperor bush and your 1984 homeland security. On the west coast, will support as I can, I only hope this the beginning of our "U.S. SUMMER"!!!! Stay cool and focused on a just cause. Violence and destruction will only hurt the cause and gain little sympathy from those who only watch the dumbed down news. News people rather film a 24 hour car chase than something that matters to us all. Soryy for this lengthy diatribe but I just now found the site. GOOD LUCK!! Orvwell

I would recommend

NO elected official member of our Congress should be allowed to : Have personal holdings or be CEO of or in any corporation that has any dealings AT ALL with the US Govt> including research and pharmaceutical companies.

Elected officials should not be allowed to own and or trade stocks in the corporations that they are SUPPOSED to be regulating IN THE BEST INTEREST of the people.

That is and has been a BLATANT conflict of interest. Sure they know what stock to invest in, they plan to approve the product next month>

If WE DO THAT MANY THINGS WILL RIGHT THEMSELVES> Remove the trough and the pigs will leave, and then maybe we can elect some real Americans to start doing the job.

too many perks, loopholes and corrupt greedy people that create and use them> think about it> on TV you see all the buy one get one commercials? Sure all you have to do is pay separate shipping right? So why do they do it? Because when they file taxes they have a little question they answer that asks Did you provide any offset. credits or refunds> which includes of course "free" stuff> BRILLIANT! one column is sales the other offsets and refunds> oh look when they file taxes they made -0- dollars and have paperwork proving they shipped every single free item> Big Corps work the system and its time to put a stop to it

We need to occupy Attorney General Beau Biden's office and demand he Revoke BP's Corporate Charter. BP has one of the worst safety track records of any major oil company operating in the United States, I really believe that demanding that the Attorney General stand up for our Country and rid us this one horrible Corporation would be at least a step in the direction we all want.

Wonderful great opportunities and work you are all doing.

Though, there is one thing that bothers me: there is so much screeming and noise all the time.

What if you would, instead of screaming to the police officers, sing a song of peace? The vibrations of the music will be so strong, definitively when this song is easy to sing, so that everyone can join you singing a joyous song, all over the planet, we need a song to unite, and to transform our screeming into a beautiful song from the heart, words of wisdom, with honesty & sincerity

Surge on the weekends. That's great and perhaps you can get some high profile support. Jesse Jackson was on Democracy Now yesterday speaking in support of Occupy Wall St.

Get rid of the Anarchy symbol in "General Assembly." You want to attract large numbers of the 99%? That won't do it. Stop being cute for the sake of being clever. Don't lose sight of your goals.

I put the circle-A there because that's how it appeared on the cardboard itinerary at the square. As an anarchist myself I am proud to have it there and I have no intentions of changing it.

There's nothing wrong with anarchism. It's political philosophy that promotes egalitarianism, freedom of association and anti-authoritarianism. If people are afraid of anarchism due to media smear campaigns, then perhaps it's time we had an opportunity to teach them what it really stands for.

This does not change the fact that we are an inclusionary group! We respect and welcome all people willing to join us and help out, regardless of their political views. But please remember that respect is a two way street. If members of the public are incapable of respecting our viewpoints, then why must we cater to them? I refuse to betray the set of ideas that helped bring many of us together to make this occupation possible. I refuse to play the same old disingenuous political games to which we've all grown far too accustomed. I am not afraid to call out for the radical change this country really needs.

100% Agree - Be inclusionary not exclusionary... most do NOT want anarchy

[-] 1 points by TheObserver (37) 10 years ago

Agreed. Anarchy doesn't create freedom when people are looting and breaking into peoples houses. Same with Communist symbols, most don't want that either.

[-] 1 points by hoserman16 (13) 10 years ago

As an anarchist I agree. People just react to the A the same way the would to a swastika or hammer and sickle. It's not convincing anyone, just scaring them off.

[-] 1 points by TheObserver (37) 10 years ago

Absolutely. Symbols can have very strong messages, people need to be careful when using them. Same with the arab scarfs I keep seeing people wear. They look like Hamas members, which doesn't help either. A's, swastikas, hammer and sickles and Hamas grab will scare people. Please be mindful!
