g and q have similar shapes ,

In Lower Case

  • one with the flag on the pole to the left and the other with the flag on the right (this font has cut the q flag)

In Upper case +the G is and open circle with a shelf while Q is a closed circle with a shelf

one wonders if the Phoenicians had intended to describe sound through mouth formations
