Threads like these are what trolls make when they have no good arguments and realize that their annoying posts aren't making their targets go away.
Dear mods,
Can we just auto-ban everyone who posts an attack thread like this? Or is this OK and should people just suck it up and fight back?

Shadzhairart simply attacks the current Dem Pres. I am disapointed with the progress of the liberal agenda. but I recognize repub right wing policies favor the 1% Shadz never critisizes the Repubs. Shadzhairart uses exaggeration and outright lies to falsely compare Bush/Obama presidential records and as such seeks to minimize the war crimes of Bush and the right wing! He never recognizes that right wing wacko policies (whether voting for by dem or repub) are at the center of our problems and are the vehicle that the 1% have used to crash the world economy and perpetrate the largest transfer of wealth from the 99% to the 1%.
These threads are just distracting people from getting anything productive done.
What would be productive? I want to do something productive, even though I enjoy fighting with repub plants.
Tell your friends to stop voting for the 1%, and starting in 2014 to look for a third party that will put People > Profits.
Join a GA, or start one if there isn't one in your town.
Find out who is being foreclosed on locally, and why. Is there any wrong-doing on the lender's part like we have seen so many times?
Promote and support the local mom-and-pop businesses, credit unions, and other 99% friendly organizations. Stop shopping at businesses that like to ship American jobs away to China. Buy made in America goods when possible.
Is there a political rally nearby? Grab some friends and call out the 1%ers.
There's lots to do, but all the trolls want to do on these boards is distract everyone else with their constant attacks against the POTUS. OWS is NOT political. It is a protest movement against the wealth inequality and unfairness that the 1% has wrought on our lives!
The mods need to come in and remove ALL political threads and users that only want to post inflammatory political BS.
I do much of what you listed. I shop local (and consume very little) I grow my own vegetables. I've been protesting for 30+yrs! I've been to many OWS meetings/marches. I've persuaded many people to get involved and gotten many to OWS. I support 3rd parties.
I also look for partisan plants on this site and challenge them.

Trying to wage an election in 5 months is foolish when you are up against millions of $ from whoever your opponent will be. The best bet is the build up grassroots support over the next 24 months to the point where your base of supporters will be able to effectively fight the 1% money.
We need to be creative, proactive, aggressive, and reflexive in our tactics and responses. We have to play political "Moneyball" in order to win. If you want to try this in 5 months, be my guest, but I think your chances are much better if you don't jump this gun too soon.
Might as well start working the kinks out and give this one a shot. There is nothing to lose, and you would learn a lot.
There needs to be a sense of urgency.
We can try, but I'm afraid that it would hurt us more in the long run to have an early failure than if we worked hard on building base and then gaining the boost from a small victory when we became ready to mobilize.
Still, I agree with you in the "what the heck? Lets do something" sense. If there a specific election that you want to target? I'm thinking a local election with an incumbent that has directly hurt the community due to 1% support. Ex: Someone who has taken money from an oil lobby to vote FOR fracking in the area, or something who gave subsidies to a company that just took the money and moves operations to China. I'm sure there are plenty of examples that we can find for these types of actions.
ITs a huge pain in the ass getting something going. justicepartyusa.org is a good example. Great platform, but getting people away from the D/R is tough. They have literally been brainwashed.

I am pro OWS. I believe we can change America by starting at the grassroots with the 99%. Bottom up, not top down. WE DON'T NEED POLITICIANS. Obama is bad. Bush is bad. The 99% are good. Let's work together amongst ourselves instead of counting on corrupted politicians and corrupted parties.
