Oh, that's what happened? This site is heavy on banning? Did I break a rule of some sort? It's funny, I was helping my friends in Florida with an Occupy protest in which we planned to burn political campaigning materials from the democrats and the republicans. We got a lot of republican materials already, but we were short on democrat stuff.

Is there another Occupy site where I can look for help?

That's weird, most of the stuff I read here is pro-Obama related. For a sec, I thought I was on a pro-Obama site when I first got here. Anyhow, thanks for the link.

We are not "closet repelicans," rather we are realists, who know that this rev needs to be based in educating, reaching out to the masses, and defiance to an unjust system.

buy?

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I would look for some 08 stuff. Its the same message all over again, just with less hope for change, you may be able to get it at a discount though.

Just so you know, all that stuff is relatively ineffective. Actual campaigning is where its at. Yard signs and stuff just make people feel good, do nothing to persuade votes.

[-] 2 points by DavidPrice (8) 11 years ago

It's for a pre-election protest in which we will burn the material.

Of course, but you usually don't find the best deals online. A lot of times, you can find cheaper stuff in home run shops and it's nice to help the small businesses out.

There's a guy who commented here that you volunteer for the democrats. Is that true? If so, you must have access to cheap campaigning materials?

I told DavidPrice to check his local landfill because it will probably have a lot of Obama campaign items in it

On a more serious note, some on here are big Obama supporters and I know that ows is against the 1%'s etc. Obama just like all the rest of the losers in Washington give entitlements to these idiots just for a vote. Also Bush is being blamed for Iraq (this is a war that should have never happened and he should be put on trial for each American or Iraq citizen that were killed) Both Obama and Biden when they were senators approved funding for the war.

Despite the hysteria or whatever, Obama and Biden still voted for it and they could have chosen not to. Are they equally responsible for this? I say yes they are.

This is an example of how you lefty's can only see one side, when both sides are equally to blame. The extreme left is dividing the Country

You do not think that Dems have their share of voter fraud?? The vote for Harry Reid was a good example of that. Then you mention violence among the Rep?? what about the violence in ows compared to the zero violence from the TP

This is why we will NEVER come to an agreement on nothing and the only winner will be the Gov. The blame on this site by the small majority (and you being one of them) is blaming the Rep for virtually everything. ows needs to change "the 99%" to around "the 3%" instead.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

The only winner in this...........is WallStreet.

I would have thought that maybe you would have understood that by now.

But..........You don't.

My bad.

Apparently not - as the repubs ( Rino's/corpoRatist's ) had to burn their own butt to demonstrate that voter fraud does happen. To support their voter suppression campaign.

TP = status-quo = corporatist ( Koch )

OWS = change the system get it back to the people = for the people.

Result = establishment going after the OWS violently.

What else are you having trouble (?) understanding?

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

No they are not, nor have you proven it.

Where is the lefts equivalent of "forcing" teacher to teach creationism?

that's just one point of difference.

[-] 0 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

The right wing is anti immigrant, anti minority, anti LGBT, anti non christian fundamentalists, anti womens equal pay, right to health care choices, anti elderly benefits,

And you have the nerve to say the left is dividing the country?

How is the left doing that? By calling out the right wing intolerance?

LMFAO!!!!!

[-] 2 points by frovikleka (2563) from Island Heights, NJ 11 years ago

The left wing politicians, for the most part are in synch with the right wing pols. While you worry about all these social issues, they, the dems and repubs continue to screw us in a myriad of ways concerning our financial well being. You are behaving exactly as they want you to, so that they can continue to ride rough-shod over our lives.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

You're not making sense.

the left has created bank oversight, & will create more, They also have cut middleclass taxes, will do so again & raise taxes on the wealthy.

The right is the exact opposite.

To suggest they are the same is inaccurate. And serves the right by minimizing their crimes against the 99%.

[-] 2 points by frovikleka (2563) from Island Heights, NJ 11 years ago

It's amazing how so few of these good measures get passed into law despite a Dem President, and having had majorities in Congress. Hmmm?? !! Gee, could this be why we are all here? lol

[-] 0 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

I just listed some progress we've made in the face of the most massive % oligarch (using repubs) in history.

And even the dems have had majorities in congress you know that they could never prevent the abusive, treasonous use of the senate filibuster by repubs.

I can't speak why anyone else is here, but I am here because the right wing conservative policies have crashed the world economy and rigged the system against the 99%. I am here because the Dems have betrayed progressive principles by voting for those pro 1% conservative policies.

So I am here to push progressive solutions and defeat pro 1% conservatives.

Why are you here?.

[-] 1 points by frovikleka (2563) from Island Heights, NJ 11 years ago

You've been drinking too much 'left-wing tea.'

[-] 1 points by frovikleka (2563) from Island Heights, NJ 11 years ago

In answer to you question below..."Why are you here?" I am here to dispel your foolish belief that we can vote our way to nirvana. And I am also here to tell you that we could never have come to the point where we are now without having had enough dems, perhaps on a rotating basis, and always with enough 'cover', cave to the right wing agenda. So go ahead, and play your game, the game that they have used to advance the neoliberal agenda, and see where that gets us.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

I never said nor do I believe we can vote our way to nirvana. That's you twisting my words, and beliefs.

I recognize and reserve my deepest disappointment with dems (many) who betray progressive principles and support the damaging conservative policies.

But i already made that clear. You're just pretending not to hear it.

Until the new system emerges, we must replace pro 1% conservatives w/ pro 99% progressives, & protest for change that benefits the 99%.

Nor attack each other.

[-] -3 points by WeThePeop (-259) 11 years ago

The left's primary goal, especially the liberals want to try and transform our Country into a socialist cesspool.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Nah. nobody wants a cesspool. The left just wants to help the needy by finding waste, fraud & abuse, as well as taking a little more from the wealthy.

The left says we're all in this together, The right says you're on your own.

[-] -1 points by WeThePeop (-259) 11 years ago

The only way it would ever work is if we all had the same wage then we could be middle class and live happily ever after. Otherwise we would end up like other Countries "poor"

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Nah that ain't the only way. No one is suggesting your idea that we all have the same wage.

LOL Thats kinda simplistic. We just want to take our govt back from the 1% plutocrats who have bought the politicians and rigged the system in there favor against us.

Thats all. A little fairness.

Are you happy with the right wing "cesspool" that we are in now, which is a corrupt, rigged, elitist system?

[-] -1 points by WeThePeop (-259) 11 years ago

I did not shadow ban it but see that it is no longer visible

Check you local landfill, they probably have an abundance of them

[+] -6 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

You should ask zendog, he volunteers for Obama's party. DKAtoday or VQkag2 might also be able to help. They all actively support Obama.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Oh hi Mike. Identified any phallic symbols in your day today?

[-] -1 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

I don't spend my days thinking and talking about penises, not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm here to talk about Occupy, perhaps you should find another site if you want to discuss the male genitalia.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

It's about symbolism, Mike. Not the male genitalia.

I hope we're clear on that issue, buddy.

[-] -1 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

Alright. Anyways, if you want to keep talking about penile metaphors, just find someone else. It's a fascinating subject, but that's not why I come to this site. Take care mate.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Oh, but I only got onto you about the topic, because others here said that if there was a bigger dick than MikeMcKeel, they wanted to hear about it.

Is there a bigger dick here, Mike?

[-] -1 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

I have a long and large penis, but I don't think size matters that much. Anyways, you can always buy gay porn if you want to see really big ones.

[-] 0 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

So big dicks gravitate towards gay porn?

Is that where you got your start in the industry, Mike?

[-] -1 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

You like penises, and you want to see big ones. Gay porn is the best bet for this. If you also like females, then buy straight porn. I assumed you liked men since you've been talking about penises for two days now. Just buy whatever suits you. Everyone has different tastes.

[-] 0 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

You disregarded my question, Mike.

Did you get your start in gay porn?

Just curious, mind. You keep going on about dicks all the time.

[-] -1 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

You're the one going on about penises, not me. Your question is designed as a lame attack. Like most people here, you don't use arguments, but favor ad hominem. I don't waste time with such logical fallacies.

[-] -2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

You don't speak for me!

I support working to keep all right wingers from power.

I support a new system!

Until the new system, from the ground up, horizontal, with direct democracy emerges, we must replace all pro 1% conservatives w.pro 99% progressives, & protest for change that benefits the 99%

[-] -1 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

I didn't speak for you. I said you might be able to help the author of this post. It's not a secret that you support Obama, and there's nothing wrong with that.

[-] -2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

To suggest I may be able to help in fact speaks for me.

Please refrain

And I never tell people how to vote, I do not state my own voting intention.

Speak for yourself. You can help him. You don't have to support someone to tell them how to find campaign products.
