Forum Post: An open message to Agnosticnixie.

Here is the message I just sent:

"Is any and every mention of the events of 911 to be considered "conspiracy theory"? If a poster states that the members of the 911 Commission itself said that the government sabotaged their investigation of the events is that "conspiracy theory"? Is it conspiracy theory to say that Iraq was blamed for 911 and now Iran is being blamed? When Thrassymaque makes a decision to erase a post or comment is there a means of appeal or is he representing the website owners and his decisions are final?"

Thrasy/Cephalus admits it openly:

"I have a bot that shadows you from time to time and down votes all your comments to -9. " http://occupywallst.org/forum/there-is-hope-more-evidence-that-ows-message-on-in/#comment-599780

That, my friends, is how I lost 2,000 points over the last 15 days or so. :o)

Good question.

I myself have stopped posting and commenting on this forum because Thrasymaque/Cephalus systematically collapses all of my best comments with his bot and so far nothing has been done about it.

I have so far lost 2,000 so-called "karma points" and in spite of my messages to the forum admins, the bot attacks continue unabated.

Thrasy-la-Terreur has basically become the "tinpot tyrant" of this forum.

R.I.P. my freedom of speech on this site. Who is next on his hit list?

Good question!

I myself have virtually stopped posting and commenting on this forum because Thrasymaque/Cephalus systematically collapses all of my best comments with his bot and so far nothing has been done about it. (SEE BELOW: 7 of my comments collapsed so far!)

I have lost almost 2,000 so-called "karma points" over the past 15 days and in spite of my messages to the forum admins, the bot attacks continue unabated.

Thrasy-la-Terreur has basically become the "tinpot tyrant" of this forum.

R.I.P. freedom of speech on this site...

I suggest continuing to post and comment. I, for one, read the collapsed comments from the pro-OWS crowd. Personally, I've never liked the 'like, dislike' function. I don't think it serves any useful purpose whatsoever and should be eliminated. All it does is make it impossible to read long threads in chronological order, which is how I'd like to read them. What the hell are 'karma points' anyway?

[-] 0 points by Cephalus (146) 12 years ago

I agree. I personally would remove the like/dislike buttons, the karma points, and the usernames. I would only leave the comments.

You can always turn off Javascript is you don't want the comments to be collapsed.

post that in it's own thread

thread subjects cannot be collapsed

[-] 0 points by Cephalus (146) 12 years ago

What would be the point. You know, I know, the moderators know, jart knows, and all the other users know I have been down voting all comments from TIOUAISE because he's been stalking me for ages. Iv'e told him weeks ago that if he stops stalking me and apologize I will stop. If he wishes to continue repeating the same comment over and over and over again that's OK, but my bot will always down vote him. He's already talked this subject to the ground, don't encourage him to spam the forum with more of this repetitious crap.

I know that the text of the thread itself cannot be collapsed, but if people offer comments on my post, I can't comment back, because Thrasy collapses my comments within a minute or two.

Conspiracy theories are not allowed on this forum as per forum rule #2. Please use one of the many Internet forums dedicated to this pseudoscience if you wish to post this type of material.

For your information, I have never erased a post or comment on this forum. I cannot do this, only the moderators can. It's probably agnosticnixie who erased your 911 postings.

Before posting, I suggest you familiarize yourself with the forum rules:

Thank you, and good day,
Thrasymaque

How about contested reality? truth is that conspiracy theory label is used to deny facts.

[-] -3 points by Cephalus (146) 12 years ago

The moderators and I use the dictionary definition of the term conspiracy theory. If you present something scientific with proper evidence, there is no problem. 9-11 Truthers fall under major alert. They've been spewing their pseudoscientific garbage for 11 years and still have nothing. They are a waste of everyone's time. Most are schizophrenics who are skipping their meds. They suffer from deep paranoia.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 12 years ago

the easiest fixed would be to remove the collapsing function from the forum

[-] -1 points by Cephalus (146) 12 years ago

You can do that yourself by disabling Javascript in your browser.

However, that's not what ShubeLMorgan2 is referring to. This site automatically filters postings that contain certain keywords. This is how they auto-delete postings concerning conspiracy theories. There used to be a lot more before jart installed this filtering module a few weeks ago.

I have little to do with any of this. The moderators don't like conspiracy theories and that's why they wrote the forum's rule #2. Even if I wasn't around, conspiracy theories would be deleted from this forum. The moderators are deleting them, not I.

the President's speech was full of war

Except partials of unexploded nano thermite, that are literally imposable to occur naturally. Near free fall speed upon collapse, one building was not even hit by a plane. The only three steel frame buildings in history to fall from fire alone (as that is what the 9/11 commission said brought down the towers )

[-] -1 points by Cephalus (146) 12 years ago

Crap that's been debunked ages ago. Use Google and search for "9-11 thermite debunked". If you're into that stuff, go on the proper forum to discuss it.

[-] 1 points by BannedForTruth (233) from Christiana, TN 12 years ago

Thmassy, why don't you? Fact is 911 plays a huge role of why OWS even happened. We were basically broke as a country in 2002 because the wars that were justified by 9/11. Then the government and wall.st started robbing to fund their wars and to stay in power. TARP, Bailout's, mortgage fraud and pension looting.

[-] -1 points by Cephalus (146) 12 years ago

This has nothing to do with me. Jart installed a module a few weeks ago that filters postings by keywords. As you know, conspiracy theories contravene the forum's rule #2 and that is why the moderators have set it up so that they are filtered out and spit into the garbage can.

If you have a problem with this, you should contact the moderators, not I. As much as I hate conspiracy theories and would delete every single one if I was a moderator, the truth is I'm not a moderator and, therefor, I'm not the one deleting them.

Duly noted but you did to this thread to play pseudomod.
